We’re all the same and yet nothing alike…

“Anyone who dreams of an uncommon life eventually discovers there is no choice but to seek an uncommon approach to living it…”

We’re just a blur, a background to someone else’s cinema, just as much as they are too us. For some their life motion picture is a horror, a rom-com, comedy, or action thriller — but it’s the paradigm they choose in writing their script that defines it to their closest audience.

An uncommon approach to living- what a strange word to chew on, living. What does it mean? To be alive, to live- not just engage in the involuntary mechanisms of muscles, tissues, and organs that facilitate the technical operations of life. Drudgingly trudging along day to day, task to task, encapsulated by the meaningless degrees of appropriated accomplishments, distinguishedness, and culturally adapted grind. For what? No, but to feel alive- truly embracing the moment of each breath feeling it rise with the contractions of each diaphragm; the rise and fall of the lungs filling the forgotten otherwise voids of feeling with an unquestionable presence of peace with each inhalation. What is it to feel the tachycardic drum of a racing heart- falling asleep intertwined with another mysterious soul? To see, feel, understand, respect, and appreciate that in this room alone I am significantly insignificant — I am just a passerby in the lives of everyone here, just a blur in the background. Crazy to think for how different we are; each from and going somewhere else in this world; how similar we are too. Everyone in here has a story, a background, a life…Their own priorities, goals, pain, and vulnerabilities. No one wakes up and thinks to themselves how can I be an asshole today? I think more often than not we project what — and how- we see the world and ourselves. For some it’s happier than others, and it shows. Maybe we should spend more time reflecting on how we know absolutely nothing, not truly, about anyone else’s circumstances and the challenges they faced that day, or before their collision with us. Lets seek appreciation for the arduous and unconventional life's lived in all organisms around us and spread a little namaste nahimean? Because whether we choose to practice patience and understanding doesn’t change the current circumstance we’re in but sure as shit can change the trajectory going forward — intrinsically and for those receiving our illustrious radiations. Some might say the vibrations of energy, karma, golden rules etc. etc, I’d summarize it as a faucet of being a simply good human because though we may not understand why we’re here or sometimes where we even are- we’re still there.

Jae saying take a breath human-

Yet here we are right now. A cataclysmic partition of chance that in this moment this diversity of life exists from varying habitats of the world. Here. Now. For a moment and then off back into our own realities, our own dimensions- umbrellaed by our own suns and moons. If we are exactly where we are meant to be in every moment how do, we define and articulate the infinity probabilities of different courses of action, if I had gone this way instead of that. My flights delayed because of this. So many unknowns- so much left entirely and utterly incomprehensible and unfathomable. What could it possibly be for except to render this passing moment, as just that, a moment to pass- to appreciate and hope that there’s some grandiose purpose behind an otherwise insignificant but bothersome avenue of travel? Who knows, maybe that’s the beauty of it- the relinquished, arbitrary, and totally serendipitous — up for interpretation — beauty of all these moments as we pass them by. A train wreck of visionaries and hopeful hearts dreaming away.

”I am significantly insignificant — I am just a passerby in the lives of everyone here, just a blur in the background”
